Exercises for the Kidneys to Nurture & Replenish the Original Qi 1 & 2

Yu Zhen Bu Yuan Gong

These 2 sets of 9 exercises both work on the Kidneys, but include the urinary system and the genitals.  They also consolidate the Stomach and Spleen.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Kidneys govern the bones.  The bones are thought to hold subtle substances, which transform into marrow.  The acupuncture channel for the Kidneys starts at the foot and exits at the ears, and therefore the strength of the bones, quality of hearing and potency depend on the strength of the Kidney energy.  Because the Kidneys are considered to be the source of life, this set is of particular importance.
